Tim is the Executive Director of Center of Life and the Pastor of the Keystone Church of Hazelwood. He has been working with children and youth for over twenty-five years. Tim was born and raised in Pittsburgh and educated in the Pittsburgh public schools. He is a graduate of Westinghouse high school. He holds degrees from Triangle Tech, The University of Pittsburgh, the Leadership Training institute, the American Institute of Banking as well as a diploma from the Reformed Theological Seminary. Tim is also a national youth network coordinator and a youth motivational speaker. He has dedicated his life to empowering families and youth. In doing so, he has established a variety of entrepreneur programs that train and educate adults and youth.
Sam joined Center of Life in July of 2009, following over twenty-five years with Duquesne Light Company, a major electric utility in Pittsburgh. With Duquesne Light Company, he enjoyed success in various Finance, Accounting and Audit positions – ending his career there as a part of the Senior Operations Management Leadership Team. He also brings expertise gained in Public Accounting and Financial Consulting.
At Center of Life, Sam is responsible for all Finance-related areas, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Budgeting, Forecasting, Internal and External Reporting. In addition, Sam works directly with Tim Smith in the research and development of funding opportunities for the various Center of Life Programs.
Peter is a 2009 graduate of Duquesne University with a bachelor of music and sound recording technology. At Center of Life he spends his time teaching the students how to use the studio equipment as well as the live sound equipment that is used at performances. Peter provides the live sound engineering for the performances.
Jessica is a graphic designer and exhibiting artist. She earned her BFA in 2009, studying illustration at the Maryland Institute College of Art. At Center of Life, Jessica works as an art instructor and in-house graphic designer.

Center of Life is seeking talented individuals to staff our summer music and arts youth program. We are looking for Rappers/Writers, Beat makers, Dancers and Visual Artists to assist with the K.R.U.N.K. Movement. Center of Life has teamed up with Gateway to the Arts to provide K.R.U.N.K. Mini-camps to the Pittsburgh Public Schools Summer Dreamers Academy.
K.R.U.N.K. is an acronym that stands for Kreating Realistic Urban New-school Knowledge. The K.R.U.N.K. Movement is a student lead production company that employs the use of Hip-Hop, Dance, Technology and Visual art to communicate positive messages about mental and physical health to teens and pre-teens.
