Originally from Pittsburgh, Meg Msyzco joined Center of Life in January 2020 after spending 11 years in New York City. In addition to a Master’s in Human Rights and Governance from The New School, Meg’s diverse work experience includes being a paralegal at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office; a Coordinator for Disability Rights at Human Rights Watch; and a Research Analyst at Safe Horizon, the nation’s largest domestic violence and crime victim’s assistance agency. Meg even won the American Evaluators Association’s Speaking Truth to Power award in 2019. Meg is happy to have found herself working in Hazelwood where she appreciates the energy of the community and the uniqueness of the Hazelwood geography and history.

“I love that I get to take all the various wonderful activities and stories about what happens at COL and distill them into a concise impact statement. It’s not always easy, but it is grounding to see how each action and output of our staff adds up to massive positive outcomes in the community.”
